Muscle Building Motivation:
How To Stick To Your Eating Plan

This article is for those who need a little muscle building motivation to stick to their eating plans.

You can have the greatest program in the world, with a superb diet with all the right ratios of protein, carbohydrates, and fats, but without motivation and a little planning and preparation, you are destined to fail.

You won't see great results time after time if you aren't consistent with your approach.

So here are some handy little organization tips that will go a long way to motivate you to stay on track with your diet.

Plan Meals Ahead Of Time

If there's one thing that keeps muscle building motivation high, it's planning meals. Get into the habit of putting aside some time every Sunday to plan your meals for the coming week.

If you've got it all written down and organized properly, it will go a long way to you actually sticking to your plan because you won't have to think about what and when to eat, it will all be written down for you.

Without doing this planning and having to think up meals on the spot is a sure-fire way to eventually kill your motivation, because it will take a lot more effort this way.

Go Grocery Shopping Once A Week

As well as planning all your meals in advance, it's a good idea to go grocery shopping once a week. Set aside one day of the week to go shopping, and get everything you need for at least the following week so you don't need to keep going back to the store for more food. This will further keep you organized and keep your muscle building motivation high, which is exactly what you want.

Cook In Advance

Another great way of staying motivated is to cook in advance as much as possible. If you come home in the evening after a long day at work, and there's nothing ready to eat for dinner, then you may not be bothered cooking/preparing what you should be eating, and you will possibly veer off-track from your eating plan.

So pre-cook your food in large batches, such as chicken breast, steaks, rice, pasta, etc. Measure them out and store them in containers. I wouldn't do this with vegetables though, I just cook them when I need them and add them to my pre-cooked meat and rice/pasta.

Always Have Emergency Meals

Having ready-to-eat meals at all times will go a long way on a muscle building diet. If something comes up, or you get stuck somewhere, instead of starving yourself or eating junk you can eat an emergency meal!

For example, have some frozen dinners in your freezer in-case you don't have time to eat one of your proper meals, or if something pops up and you don't have time to cook.

Another idea is to keep a protein bar in your car in-case you get stuck somewhere, or get held up at work. These are just examples, and I'm sure you can figure it all out yourself so that you never starve yourself and go without important muscle building nutrients!

So hopefully these tips will help keep your muscle building motivation high at all times. But the most important thing to stay motivated is that you must want it. If you aren't prepared to put in the hard work that is required to achieve the body of your dreams, then you won't get the results you want. Motivation must first come from within you. Good luck!
