Growing up as a kid I was your typical average skinny guy. I was good at sport and played football for years, but my thin physique would always hold me back. My problem was, being the typical skinny kid that I was, I had a high metabolism and found it hard gaining any weight let alone muscle. In other words I found out I was what you called a "hardgainer" in the bodybuilding world, and I might have thought I was eating enough to gain weight, but I simply wasn't.

Plus, to add to that, my genetic makeup doesn't do me any favors and building muscle size isn't something my body was made for. You see, your ability to build muscle is decided in part by your genes, so some find it harder/easier to put on muscle weight than others.

I started researching online about how to build muscle and immediately became so confused with all the contradicting information out there, it seems everybody's got a different opinion. So who do you trust?

Well, if you want to achieve a certain goal in your life, it's a great idea to model those who have gone before you and actually achieved what you are setting out to achieve. So in my case, why not follow the advice of someone who knows what they're talking about, but most importantly who have built their dream physique from scratch.

I was one day introduced by a friend to an ebook called the Muscle Gain Truth, and it was exactly what I needed: a step by step guide on how to build muscle geared torwards hardgainers (those who find it hard gaining mass).

The author of the book, Sean Nalewanyj, former skinny "pencil neck" (as he described himself) had achieved exactly what I set out to do, and that was build a brand new large and powerful muscular body in a matter of months. His eye-opening book covers everything you need to know about building muscle, minus all the marketing hype and bogus "magic" supplements that plaque the industry these days.

I was a little skeptical at first, but to this day, making that decision to read and commit to Sean's program was one of the most important decisions I've ever made for my overall health and well-being.

After 6 weeks of applying Seans simple training, nutrition, and supplement principles and I had already gained 11 pounds (5 kilograms) which the majority of was muscle, and my body was really starting to change for good. I stuck to the program and kept packing on muscle mass, and at the 7-month mark, I had gained 40 pounds and gone from a skinny and weak 140 pounds, to a strong and much more muscular 180 pounds.

Although don't get me wrong, like anything in life worth achieving it isn't going to be easy, and building muscle is actually quite hard to do. That's why it's so important to be following the right information so that you're not wasting your time in and out of the gym, and so that you know you're doing everything you can to build the most amount of muscle mass.

If you're putting in the hard work to follow an eating and training plan, you might aswell be following what has been proven to work for countless others instead of mindlessly lifting weights in the gym and eating the first thing in sight, and then wondering why you aren't seeing any gains.

My motto is you only live one life so why not live it the best you can? I decided to create this website to share with beginner trainers nothing but the truth about building muscle, without all the misleading marketing hype and B.S that plagues this industry. Contact Us if you have any comments or questions about the site.

I wish you nothing but great muscle-building success!
